We have been asked what is the acceptable way to cool down and put away the Kaleido Roaster?  

We recommend opening the bean dump chute, and turning the exhaust/smoke fan to 100%.  Turn the heating element off.  If you have the M2, M6, or M10, you can fold the sides up for additional cooling.   Keep the drum spinning until the roaster reaches approximately 50 deg C.   Dump your chaff bin.  Ensure there are no smoldering chaff prior to throwing in a trashcan. 

Fold the sides down, close the chute, and store your roaster.
