Terms & Conditions
By purchasing from Kaleido Roasters Canada, you agree to the Terms and Conditions outlined below. These terms apply to all purchases made through our website or authorized sales channels.
1. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
All shipping timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Once an order has been handed to the shipping carrier, it is considered fulfilled and in transit under the carrier’s responsibility.
Kaleido Roasters Canada is not responsible for delays, losses, damage, or delivery issues caused by carriers, customs authorities, or events outside of our control.
Carrier tracking confirmation serves as proof of shipment and handover.
2. IMPORT DUTIES, TAXES AND CUSTOMS
The customer is the importer of record and is responsible for all import duties, taxes, tariffs, customs fees, and brokerage charges imposed by the destination country.
These charges are not included in product or shipping prices unless explicitly stated.
Failure to pay customs or import fees does not qualify for refund, cancellation, or chargeback eligibility.
3. RISK OF LOSS AND TITLE TRANSFER
Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the customer once the shipment has been handed over to the carrier. From that point, the shipment is considered in transit under the carrier’s responsibility.
However, Kaleido Roasters Canada may, at its discretion, provide assistance in cases of transit loss or damage, including supporting claims with the carrier and, where appropriate, offering a replacement or resolution.
Any replacement or support provided for shipping damage or loss is a goodwill gesture and does not constitute acceptance of liability for carrier-related issues.
Carrier tracking confirmation serves as proof of shipment and handover.
4. RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery.
A 15% restocking fee will apply to all approved returns. This fee covers processing, inspection, handling, and preparation costs associated with returned equipment.
Eligibility requirements:
Item must be Unopened item must be Unused item must be in original packaging and condition.
Proof of purchase is required
Opened or used items are not eligible for return under any circumstances.
Return requests must be approved in advance. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is confirmed defective under warranty.
Refunds are issued only after inspection and approval. Non-returnable items include:
Parts and replacement components Used equipment
Custom-configured units.
Clearance or final sale items
5. WARRANTY
All products are covered under a limited manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Warranty applies to manufacturing defects only.
Warranty does NOT cover:
Misuse, neglect, or improper Installation electrical incompatibility or failure to meet local power requirements Wear-and-tear or consumable components.
Damage occurring after carrier handover. Unauthorized repairs or modifications.
Warranty claims require proof of purchase and may require supporting photo or video evidence.
Warranty service may result in repair, replacement, or parts supply at our discretion.
Refunds are not provided under warranty.
6. PARTS AND COMPONENTS
All parts and replacement components are final sale and non-returnable. No returns or refunds apply to parts under any circumstances. If a part is confirmed defective under warranty, a replacement or equivalent may be provided at our discretion.
7. Regulatory Compliance & Local Requirements
Products sold by Kaleido Roasters Canada may be subject to local electrical, safety, and regulatory requirements depending on the jurisdiction in which they are used.
Unless explicitly stated, equipment is not sold as certified or approved for all regional standards (including but not limited to CSA, UL, ETL, or equivalent certifications).
The customer (or importer of record, where applicable) is responsible for ensuring that the product complies with all applicable local laws, regulations, and safety requirements prior to installation or use. This includes any requirement for inspection, field evaluation, certification, or approval by local authorities or third-party agencies.
Any costs associated with such compliance requirements, including but not limited to inspection fees, certification fees, or regulatory approval costs, are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the purchase price unless explicitly agreed in writing at the time of sale.
Kaleido Roasters Canada is not responsible for third-party regulatory assessments, inspection outcomes, or jurisdiction-specific approval requirements that arise after delivery.
Nothing in this section limits statutory rights relating to manufacturing defects or warranty coverage as outlined in this policy.
Kaleido Roasters Canada is not liable for any restrictions, delays, or additional costs resulting from local regulatory requirements.
8. DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND CHARGEBACKS
Customers agree to contact Kaleido Roasters Canada directly before initiating any payment dispute or chargeback.
Most issues can be resolved through support, troubleshooting, or warranty replacement.
Unjustified chargebacks may result in denial of future service or orders and may be disputed with supporting documentation, including these agreed Terms.
9. Force Majeure
Kaleido Roasters Canada shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters
Pandemics or public health emergencies
Government actions or restrictions
Carrier disruptions
Supplier or manufacturing delays
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
Continued use of our website or purchase of our products constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12.CUSTOMER AGREEMENT
By completing a purchase, the customer confirms that:
They have read and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
They understand shipping, customs, and risk transfer terms.
They accept responsibility for import compliance and fees.
They understand that returns and warranty conditions are strictly limited
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions, and any separate agreements under which services or products are provided, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted to limit or exclude any rights or protections available to customers under applicable Canadian federal or provincial consumer protection laws.
Jurisdiction
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
